Additional Information

3 things I could not live without:
Yoga, water, air.

Or laughter, smiles and touch
A bit about me...:
I get up to all sorts. A new chapter is opening in my life (would you believe 'divorce'?). I ride motorbikes, I write for a living, I love to cook and do country stuff.
I don't watch tv, I don't like modern, media led culture too much and think that if we don't help the world then no one will. It's our turn.
For me the benefits of yoga are... (e.g. spiritual, physical etc.) :
It gets rid of the layers of modernity and permits the inner self to be seen.

The unexamined life is not worth living - Socrates
I am hoping to meet...:
Either Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche or Rik Clay. But not yet - much, much later
I have been practising yoga for... ( e.g. 1 yr, 5 yrs, 10 yrs) :
This is a tough one. I've been in sport since forever. I found yoga through karate and have been practising for about 15 years. but I get to a point of physical development and then life gets in the way and I stop going. You get snowed in or you start developing your spiritual self and then you've got to start again.
I'd love to teach yoga but there is so much to learn. I don't 'do' any particular style as I finding the right teacher is much more important. Is there any bad yoga?
If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a... because...:
My dog Rio. Just to know what she really thinks of me.
In my bedroom you will find:
Space, tidy, clean. Comfy bed, clothes, books, PC, pictures of my kids.
My guests (living or dead, actual people or fictional characters) to the ultimate dinner party would include...:
Socrates, the Lord Buddha, Adolf Hitler (just to ask questions really!), Barry Sheene, Boudicca, Iyengar, Dara O'Briain, Sun Tzu, Rudolf Steiner, Jan van Eyck, Freud, Samuel Adams and me.
My ideal date would be (e.g. candlelit dinner):
I haven't dated for years so this is a tough one. How about you just show up and we take it from there? I've got the motorbike, got money - lets go!
My ideal vacation would be:
Life.
I've sorta given up on holidays. They are the break from tedium and pressure. If you get rid of the pressure then every day is a holiday.
My motto in life is...:
I don't have one today.

"Always walk the full length of the counter" used to be a favourite.
The famous person I most resemble is...:
Unfortunately, it's a cross between Billy Idol and Boris Johnson. Sorry!
